A couple of weeks ago, Google has released the experimental binaries for the Sprint branded Samsung Galaxy Nexus, giving us hope for AOSP support for the handset. The release wasn’t specifically fully compatible with full AOSP support, due the bugs issue in the network stack.
Today, the Galaxy Nexus factory Images page was updated, providing the ‘toroplus’ factory image exclusively for the Sprint branded Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset. In fact, it is the first factory image released by Google for Sprint’s GNex version. this is the Android 4.1.1 addition, carrying the build number FH05. The Android 4.2 image isn’t ready yet, but it will be posted on the page when it is ready.
Google has also published the updated factory image for the Nexus S “sojua” handset. If you are wondering, this image carries Android 4.1.2 (build JZO54K).
As always, you can download the images from the Galaxy Nexus Factory Images page or else you can hit the links below to grab the appropriate factory image for your handsets.
