Sprint’s version of the Google Nexus S 4G can now be purchased online at Best Buy website for $199.99 with a two-year contract with the carrier. Best Buy had actually set up this page for Nexus S 4G long time back but showing ‘Coming Soon’ up until recently. But looks like Best Buy has just updated the website accepting the purchases from takers. The smartphone costs $699.99 without contract. Though the page exacts the price information, but don’t see the official release date of the phone there, though we are sure it might happen anytime during this Spring.
Nexus S 4G coming to Sprint is still the same Nexus S which was announced during the late 2010 but with WiMAX radio for supporting 4G network speeds on Sprint. This Samsung-made Nexus S 4G will have pure Android 2.4 Gingerbread OS, 4-inch Super AMOLED Contour display, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 16GB on-board memory, 5 megapixels rear-facing camera with LED flash, NFC support and more.
