It was pretty clear that its launch was imminent an we’ve been able to pre-order the Nexus S 4G from Sprint for a good while now. But there was no specific release date announcement. Now Sprint has officially confirmed that the Nexus S 4G will be officially launching on May 8th.
Sprint versioned Nexus S is pure Google device that comes with 4G WiMAX compatibility, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, including a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 16GB of internal memory, 1GHz processor, the heavily-hyped near field communication (NFC) capability, equipped with front (VGA) and 5 megapixel rear and VFA facing cameras, 512 MB of RAM, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability, Bluetooth 2.1, Google Voice features.
