Early this month, we reported about a couple of leaked blurry pictures of the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide aka HTC Doubleshot which was recently approved by the FCC with T-Mobile frequency bands. We already know that the device will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the HTC Sense UI on top of it. And now, TmoNews has gotten another round of pictures and info about the upcoming myTouch 4G Slide. The leaked pictures this time around are far clearer and will show you the phone’s keyboard and the user interface in more details.
The pictures reveal that myTouch 4G Slide is very similar in design to the original myTouch 4G but differ in that the myTouch 4G Slide will have a four-row full slide-out QWERTY keyboard (much like the recently discontinued T-Mobile G2) along with a “www. / .com” button (see the above pictures). The tipster who sent the pictures to TmoNews also mentioned that the phone is having some “specific myTouch features” rather than the stock user interface and also maintained that the keyboard is “amazing” and that the device is “surprisingly fast”, hinting us the possibility of a dual-core processor inside it. A 1.2GHz dual-core processor? Anyone?
The specs for the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide include an 8 megapixel rear camera with support for 1080p HD video recording along with LED flash and autofocus and will be powered possibly by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and will have a myTouch 4G Slide-specific version of the HTC Sense 3.0 UI if we are to go by the leaked information.
