It’s been more than a month since T-Mobile officially announced the all new myTouch 4G Slide on its network, unfortunately we didn’t have any official information about the price and release date of the phone up until yesterday. Thankfully, T-Mobile has now stepped up and revealed the details over its Facebook page. And the official information is on par with what we saw already. As expected, T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide is going to be launched officially on July 27th for $199.99 on a two-year contract with the carrier. Though it will be available starting July 27th at stores, you can however opt in for the web-only pre-sale which will kick off on July 19th at the dedicated page of the myTouch 4G Slide. That’s just a week ahead!
The HTC-made T-Mobile USA’s myTouch 4G Slide has got a 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD touchscreen display, a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8 megapixel advanced camera with 1080p HD video recording, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, latest HTC Sense 3.0 UI on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, support for T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network, Wi-Fi, microSD card support up to 32GB with an 8GB card already included in the box etc.
