In September, last year, The Verge reported that Nokia is planning to introduce two Windows Phone 8 devices, code names “Zeal” and “Flame” in early this year. Now, the device named Flame is likely to be available in the US coming April.
According to a newly leaked T-Mobile roadmap, the Windows Phone 8 Nokia Flame will be heading to its network on April 24. The smartphone is expected to come with a 4-inch screen, 512MB RAM, a 1.0GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera, and 4GB of internal storage. In order to extend the storage, a microSD slot is also expected to pack on it.
Besides the device, the US carrier is preparing to announce other new 4G devices: the Samsung Codina, ZTE MF 96 Mobile hotspot LTE, and Signal booster 1900 as well.
Recently, from another leaked T-mobile roadmap, it was confirmed that T-Mobile is preparing to carry a number of LTE 4G handsets on its network starting March 27. Among the devices, the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE and the most awaited BlackBerry Z10 were included.
However, there is no information about the official price tag of the handset. So, it’s time to wait for more reports and hopefully for an official statement very soon.
