Along with the biggies’ announcement about K60 series, which consists Redmi K60 and K60 Pro, Xiaomi has also launched the new Redmi K60E handset. Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the reasoning behind the letter “E” at the end, but we believe this handset would be an efficient piece of work.
The Redmi K60E is an entry level handset in the K60 family, carrying a 120Hz AMOLED screen. It is powered by the Dimensity 8200 SoC, which has one CPU core at 3.1 GHz, three at 3.0 GHz for performance, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. The processor is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and sports a 48MP primary camera with OIS capability. It’s joined by 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units.
The rest of the Redmi K60E handset’s highlights include a 6.67″ Samsung OLED 120Hz 10bit OLED display with 2K resolution and 480Hz touch sampling rate with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a 20MP selfie camera, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. It has 5G connectivity and an NFC chip onboard. You also get a USB-C port, BT 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, IR Blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and support for Hi-Res Audio. Moreover, it comes preinstalled with Android 13 OS based MIUI 14, and fueled by a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
The Redmi K60E is already on sale at Xiaomi China’s website and major third-party retailers. It comes in black, white, and cyan colors and has three memory options with the following price options.
