HTC has officially announced the new budget friendly Desire X handset, which comes with 4″ LCD display, Android 4.0 ICS OS, dual-core CPU, 1650mAh battery, 5MP camera, 4GB eMMC, Beats Audio and more.
The yet to be announced HTC Desire X includes a 4″ WVGA display, 1GHz chipset, 5MP camera with ImageChip technology, 768 MB RAM and shops with Android 4.0.4 ICS + Sense 4.1 UI.
A new press render of the yet-to-be announced HTC “Proto” handset has leaked online, which is expected to sport a 4″ WVGA screen, 1GHz dual-core and a 5MP camera.
HTC has started seeding out the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the international version of the HTC One X handset, carrying HTC Sense 4.1 UI and some other improvements and enhancements.
HTC has posted on its Facebook page that Desire S and Thunderbolt and all aother remaining devices are confirmed to get a tasty treat of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update by end August.
According to DigiTimes, HTC is planning to launch a 5-inch 1080p Android phone this fall for Verizon, which comes with 1794 x 1080 pixels of resolution and it is currently codenamed “dlx.”
