Sprint is now rolling out the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich update for its HTC EVO Design 4G handset, bringing a handful of improvements and enhancements including Face Unlock, Folders, Sense 3.6 UI and more.
Both the Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile have announced their first 4G WiMX powered handsets HTC EVO V 4G and HTC EVO Design 4G respectively, which will release on May 31st for $299.99, sans the contract.
HTC EVO Design 4G owners now can download the new firmware update 2.12.651.5 that is being rolled out by Sprint. The update brings security update,somewhat-increased battery life, and an update for Peep client. According to a leaked source, Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S II variant will be named as Samsung Epic 4G Touch. HTC EVO Design 4G and Motorola Admiral handsets will be heading to release on Sprint’s air waves in the coming months.
