RadioShack has tweeted that the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G handset will hit its retailer location on April 20th. Sidekick 4G runs with Froyo, 1GHz A8 Hummingbird Processor, 3 MP primary camera, 3.5-inch display and, Samsung Media Hub, plus Qik video calling and DriveSmart and more. T-Mobile USA is reviving their ‘Sidekick’ mobile phone brand with the unveiling of Sidekick 4G built by Samsung. Sidekick 4G is an Android powered device carrying the popular Sidekick features like five-row QWERTY keyboard, pop-tilt display with support for 4G data speeds.
T-Mobile has officially confirmed it’s latest upcoming 4G smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S 4G for it’s HSPA+ 4G network. The Galaxy S 4G will have a Super AMOLED display, Android 2.2 Froyo OS, and 21Mbps HSPA+ radio. And, sometime in the future T-Mobile Sidekick 4G will join the it’s lineup, which is also a 4G device and running an unknown version of Android operating system.
