Tecno has officially launched a couple of Android phones in its POVA series – aptly named Tecno POVA 4 and POVA 4 Pro. Both these new handsets are carrying the same design and same specifications exuding some minor differences. The two phones have Helio G99 chipset and 6,000 battery, while the Pro model has better advantages with OLED display and fast charging speeds.
The Tecno POVA comes with a 6.82-inch waterdrop notch screen with HD+ resolution and it offers a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Tecno POVA 4 Pro model will be offered AMOLED display measured at 6.8-inches. Both phones powered by MediaTek Helio G99 processor based on 6nm process, combined with 8GB RAM with 5GB virtual RAM support. The device comes with 128GB internal storage (256GB storage option for the Pro model), which is expandable via a microSD card slot.
POVA 4 series has a gradient pattern rear panel and it also has a triple camera setup with LED flash on the back side – 50MP primary camera with 2MP auxiliary sensor for depth or macro and dual LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter. The series will be offered with a massive 6,000mAh battery. The vanilla model has 18W charging capability, while the pro model comes with 45W charging speeds and 10W reverse charging as well.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner sits on the top of power button. The remaining specs are including stereo speakers, NFC, FM Radio. The device naturally runs Android 12 OS out of the box.
The POVA 4 comes in Uranolith Grey / Fluorite Blue colors, while the NOVA 4 Pro model can be grabbed in Fluorite Blue color only. No word launch date yet, but both phones will be available in Bangladesh in the coming days, pricing starts at BDT 26,900 which is about $260.
