Finally, a great news for those of you proud owners who own the Toshiba Thrive 10” tablet and have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the ICS update. The highly anticipated Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update has already started to roll out, bumping the software version up to IMM76D.01.000072314. In addition to the version bump, the new firmware is also carrying the improved video and audio performance, improved camera functions, and improved signal strength/connectivity.
So if you happen to own the Thrive 10”, and haven’t received Android 4.0.4 ICS update so far, make sure you check for updates regularly. The OTA update is around 289MB of size. You can upgrade your device with the help of tablet’s exclusive “Service Station” app. Head over to Home screen –> hit “Apps” icon –> look for the “Service Station” and tap “Check for Updates” –> now follow the on-screen instructions to finish the ICS upgrading process successfully. Hello I noticed upon checking my tablet that a new update is available and i searched the numbers/build of the new update and your site gives me the exciting New of what this updaymte is!!!!!!

So so happpy at the moment
Upgraded yesterday morning and it went in smoothly. Sharper screen, a few updated icons. Lost my fancy clock widget, no big deal. Haven’t found all the settings to get things back to what I had for keyboard, etc. Biggest issue I have right now is my sound was muted when the upgrade started and now it won’t unmute. Have rebooted, tried adjusting from settings all the way down to SRS and still, no sound.
Any suggestions to correct this MAJOR issue appreciated!
