LG is bringing another mid-range spec’d Android phone for a carrier in the U.S. We just reported that AT&T will start selling the new LG Escape 4G LTE handset on September 16th for just $49.99. A few weeks ago, we saw a leaked product PDF face sheet of an LG handset for the U.S. Cellular. Now, the carrier took the wraps off that handset and it will be called: LG Splendor.
The upcoming LG Splendor handset will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, featuring a 4.3 inch WVGA display with 480 X 800 pixels of resolution, a duo of 5MP rear camera and an additional VGA front-facing camera, 1GHz processor, 4GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA media sharing support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, and 1700mAh battery.

There are a set of extra features called Cheese Shutter – lets you to take a snap jus by saying “cheese”. and QuickMemo app lets you to annotate screenshots with your fingers. No, the handset doesn’t include a stylus.
The LG Splendor will be available to purchase from September 12th on the same day when Apple unveils the new iPhone 5 at its San Francisco event. LG Splendor will sell for just $79 after a $100 mail-in-rebate with your signature on a two-year contract with U.S. Cellular.
