Yesterday, Verizon has gone live with Samsung Galaxy S III pre-orders, bringing a chance for customers to reserve their units. But Big Red has kept tight-lipped about the actual release date of the device. Users have pre-ordered the Galaxy S III, have been receiving emails mentioning ship date is 9th July, but the company hasn’t publicly clarified this date as the availability date yet.
Best Buy stores are letting the customers to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S III handset over AT&T, Verizon and Sprint networks. Users who have already pre-ordered the GSIII for Verizon from Best Buy, are receiving preorder agreement papers saying the estimated date of arrival is June 28th, Thursday. In fact, Verizon used to launch a various device on Thursdays only. It has been also rumored that Verizon Galaxy S III units will arrive at warehouses as early as June 23. So it seems June 28 is apparently reasonable for device’s launch.
Sprint and AT&T are also accepting the pre-order for their versions of the Galaxy S III devices. Sprint’s versions has been officially confirmed to start fulfilling pre-orders on June 21st, while AT&T is expected to ship the preordered units by June 18th. T-Mobile’s will release the device on June 21st.
