After Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich announcement, most of the Android fans are looking to upgrade their handsets with it. So far, Google Nexus S, HTC Vivid, Asus Transformer Prime, OG Asus Transformer, Acer Iconia Tab A500 devices and other devices have been successfully upgraded to ICS build. But, Verizon has yet to confirm the roll out window for its HTC Rezound, Motorola Droid RAZR, Droid RAZR Maxx, Motorola Xoom 3G and 4G LTE devices, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1/7.7 and many more devices.
A set of leaked internal Verizon documents have leaked online providing the Ice Cream Sandwich testing and update schedule for the HTC Rezound, Motorola Droid RAZR, Droid RAZR Maxx, and Xoom 3G/4G tablets. According to the leaked document, the HTC Rezound will finish the ICS testing on May 7th and the update will be pushing out from May 9th, while both the Motorola DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX will be in testing until the 17th with a release ETA of May 21st.
Good news for Motorola Xoom 3G/4G owners. The ICS testing has been completed for these devices and currently put on hold for “Technical Approval”, while the release date has yet to be finalized. The leak has also confirmed that the updates (not confirmed as ICS update related) for Motorola Droid Bionic, LG Revolution, HTC Thunderbolt, Xperia Play and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 are also in testing.
