A few days ago, Verizon has started rolling a new software update for Motorola DROID Pro handset, which adds some performance and operating system enhancements. The current update codenamed as 2.26.60.XT610.Verizon.en.US. The update will improve the audio clearance on voice calls, as well as stability and performance improvisation. Additionally, the user interface now refreshes when shifting from GSM/UMTS to Global mode, it would prefix the “011” country code to SMS messages and the Global mode will no longer resets when connecting to a USB charger, full screen brightness in wake-up mode.
The update will also enhance backlight display for the bottom four buttons on the phone to follow the display timer setting and it gives an overall better smartphone experience.
To install Over-the-Air update Droid Pro users need to select “Menu” > “Settings” > “About phone” > “System Updates” > “Install Now”.
