Finally, after a long wait, the first Android tablet is getting ready to get the long-awaited ICS update in the coming days. Verizon has officially announced that it will begin rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Motorola Xoom 4G tablet on June 4th. The update will bump the Android OS version up to v4.0.4. It will get the smae build, which is exactly the same as what the Verizon branded Galaxy Nexus is receiving at the moment – Android 4.0.4 IMM76L. and it will bring the improved speech-to-text software, built-in photo editor and you can also dismiss the notifications by swiping.
