vivo announced three new S16 series of smartphones – vivo S16, S16 Pro and S16e. They have nearly identical hardware, but slightly different specifications, and this series comes as the successor to the previous gen vivo S15 series. The vivo S16 series boots the latest Android 13 with vivo’s OriginOS 3 skin on top.
The three phones carry a compact form factor, featuring AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate, along with a rectangular camera module on the back side and under-display fingerprint scanners. The batteries are also identical at 4,600mAh capacity. The Vivo S16 series will be available in Hyacinth Purple, Sea Foam Green, and Starry Night Black coloured variants.
Among these, the green colour variant of vivo S16 Pro features a photochromic technology that changes from light green to dark green, and with the smoked sapphire pattern on the purple glass. Each phone has a ring LED which it calls Aura light.
