The Vivo X Flip, the next flip phone from Vivo, has been recently spotted on Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications. According to the documentation, the smartphone is expected to launch in China in April with the model name vivo V2256A.
This upcoming flip phone from Vivo is generating buzz in the market, and tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for its official launch. With the Geekbench listing now revealing some of its major specs, we have a better idea of what to expect from the Vivo X Flip.
The Geekbench listing has revealed that the upcoming Vivo X Flip will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The chipset boasts an octa-core processor with a base clock speed of 1.80 GHz and an Adreno 730 GPU, making it a powerful performer. The motherboard codenamed “taro” is expected to house 12 GB of memory, ensuring smooth multitasking capabilities. The device will also run on the latest Android 13 operating system.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Vivo X Flip has achieved scores of 1680 for the single-core test and 4267 for the multi-core test. These scores are impressive and put the device on par with other high-end smartphones that also use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset such as Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, OnePlus 10 Pro, Xiaomi 12 series and many more.
It’s worth noting that benchmark scores are not always indicative of real-world performance, but they do give us an idea of how the device may perform in certain situations.
According to rumors, the upcoming Vivo X Flip smartphone is expected to come equipped with a 4400mAh±Typ+44W battery, along with a 50MP IMX866+12MP IMX663 cameras. The device is also expected to feature a 6.8″±FHD+120Hz OLED display that can fold inwards, with a centered single hole for the front camera. In addition, the phone is rumored to have a big circular lens module on the rear at the upper left corner, along with a square secondary screen.
