vivo launched its first foldable Android powerhouse earlier year, and it is expected to be the new Vivo x Fold+ soon. They haven’t revealed anything about the X Fold+ yet, but its official look-a-like renders have surfaced online today.
These renders showed us the X Fold+ will be available in both Red and Blue color options. The first gen X Fold was introduced in two color options -Black and Blue. A few days ago, a set of live images of this device also surfaced on China’s TENAA website.
Based on the previous reports, the Vivo X Fold+ is supposed to ship with the same 8.03-inch foldable display and a 6.53-inch outer screen as they did with the first gen X Fold phone. It is rumored to be backed up by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options. TENAA certification has revealed that there will be a couple of 2300mAh batteries (4,600mAh) under the hood. The battery setup comes with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
Both the inner foldable displays of the Vivo X Fold+ will have a 120Hz refresh rate. The users can fold this handset at different angles like 30/90/120 degrees. It does have an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on both inner and outer displays.
It is also rumored to be having a quad-camera setup on the back side which includes a 50MP main camera, while the front side will have a 16MP camera. We don’t know when Vivo will exactly announce the X Fold+, but since its official-looking images have leaked online, it shouldn’t be too long before the manufacturer officially announced the X Fold+.
