Along with a couple of new Motorola Droid XYBOARD tablets, Verizon has also officially announced the availability of the exclusive white edition of the Motorola Droid RAZR handset. A few days ago, we published a story that Verizon was prepping to launch the White Droid RAZR handset. To be frank, oh boy, this phone looks great in white. Verizon has confirmed that the 4G LTE capable White Motorola Droid RAZR will hit shelves in time for the holiday season for the same pricing $299.99 that Verizon is currently asking to pay for the black edition on a new 2-year contract agreement. The buyers will be required to subscribe for a $39.99-a-month voice plan and $30-a-month data plan. Verizon still remains silent about the exact release date of this handset.
Just like the black edition, the White Motorola Droid RAZR has managed to pack a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, 1GB of RAM, a “mere” 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD (540×960) resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass, a kevlar backing & splash coating for protection, front (1.3MP) and rear (8MP) cameras, 1080p HD video recording capability, 16GB eMMC, 16GB microSD card inserted with scope for memory expansion up to 32GB, 4G LTE connectivity, and 1780mAh battery into a 7.1mm thick body.
