While we wait for the Chinese manufacturer to put the Xiaomi Civi 2 out into the world, we’ve got a sneak preview to explore more about it. There wasn’t much about the Civi handset that we didn’t have a good idea about at this point, but the Chinese manufacturer has released a few promotional posters for this device to tease the battery capacity and its charging speeds.
The teaser poster has been posted on Xiaomi’s official account on Weibo. Xiaomi described the Civi 2 as “thin and light body” with “4500mAh super battery.” The good side of the information we get from this teaser poster is that the wired charging speed is going to stick at 67W. Most of the recent smartphones are still releasing into markets with just 25W, which is not speedy at all. This 67W charging is capable of fully charging the Civi 2’s battery to full battery in just 40 minutes.
Civi 2 may ship with a triple camera setup on its back side in a big rectangle-shaped camera module. Though we only know about the primary 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, it is rumored to be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro unit. On front side, it has dual selfies cameras, each capped at 32MP. As we mentioned earlier, you it does sports curved display with a pill-shaped cutout on the front side.
Remaining details of the handset will be revealed out at Xiaomi’s launch event on September 27 at 14:00 Chinese local time.
