HTC Puccini Is A 10-inch Android Honeycomb Tablet For AT&T

We’ve already covered about the HTC Puccini tablet that it is heading to AT&T, and rumored to be featuring 4G LTE capability, but we were not sure about which version of Android OS it is going to be shipped with.

Folks over at 911SnipEr blog who have been uncovering all the details of HTC’s upcoming smartphones have also presented some exclusive details about the Puccini tablet. According to the source, Puccini will be running on Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb OS, featuring a 10-inch display with WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel, touched with HTC Sense 3.0 experience, charged by Qualcomm MSM8660 1.5GHz dual core processor, and it should be running under AT&T’s upcoming 4G LTE network.

The Qualcomm MSM8660 is said to be delivering 5x the performance of the original Snapdragon, 4x the graphics performance, boasting “low energy technology” which provides up to a 75% reduction in power usage.

It should be noted that HTC Puccini isn’t the only device to have 4G LTE capability. HTC’s upcoming and yet-to-be announced HTC Lead and Holiday smartphones also are rumored to be having 4G LTE radio under the hood.

HTC Puccini is also said to support the Scribe “Magic Pen”, which is already rocking on the recently released (in the U.K.) HTC Flyer tablet. This pen allows you to write on the capacitive screen to take notes with possibility to save the notes as an PDF file or an image or as a web page and save it or share it with your friends.

With its 10.1-inch display, it will join the the the 10-inch tablet models like Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Motorola Xoom, and other upcoming 10.1-inch tablets like Dell Streak 10 Pro (not yet announced) and Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet.
