Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean handset in December, last year. But at that time, the mobile manufacturer didn’t announce the official price tag and availability of the device. Here we are with more word on this particular Samsung Galaxy Grand smartphone.
The device will be released in Ukraine starting February. It is expected that the smartphone will be available in other regions as well with a similar roll out date.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand has two versions: One is Dual SIM version (GT-I9082) and another is the single SIM version (GT-I9080). The dual SIM version will only be available in Ukrainian retailers beginning this February.
The suggested retail price of the dual-SIM Galaxy Grand bearing model number I9082 will be 4,444UAH which is around €409 or $547.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand is packed with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and a 2100mAh battery to run the smartphone. It sports a 5-inch 800×480 TFT LCD display, 1 GB of RAM, 8MP rear and 2 MP Front HD cameras, HSPA+ (up to 21Mbps down, 5.76 up) connectivity on 850 / 1900 / 2100 bands, along with Bluetooth, DLNA and Wi-Fi. It will also come with Samsung’s own features such as Direct Call, Smart Alert, S Voice and more.
Yet, there’s no info to which carrier the device will be heading.
