It looks like Verizon is gearing up launch more than a couple of smartphone on May 26th. SE Xperia Play has just been announced officially for Verizon for May 26th launch, and Motorola Droid X2 is also rumoring to be landing on the same date. Then what about Verizon’s next 4G LTE capable LG Revolution 4G handset. Well..it is also expected to be launching in the same date – May 26th. Previous rumors have tipped us that Revolution was supposed to launch May 12th, but that day has already gone. We’ve already reported that LG Revolution 4G should be released on May 25th, suggested by its press shot.
The leaked screenshot of Best Buy’s inventory listing is revealing that the retailer is expecting an in-stock date of May 25th for LG Revolution 4G, that means it will go for sale, starting from 26th of May. The leaked screenshot is also showing $699.99 off-contract pricing value. Verizon’s latest 4G LTE capable Samsung Droid Charge is now available to purchase for $299.99 on a two-year contract.
LG Revolution is will be powered by 1 GHz processor, rocking on a 4.3″ touch display, paired up with a five megapixel camera with LED flash, 720p HD video capturing capability, 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera for video chat, HDMI port, DLNA, Wi-Fi, 16GB onboard storage, pre-loaded Netflix app, DivX support, Android Market, and the whole host of Google & Verizon services. This handset has been rumored to be the first phone on Verizon to use its LTE connection for regular voice calls in addition to data.
