Till few minutes ago while we were discussing about its Costco price tag and we were eagerly waiting for the official announcement. And here it is! Finally, Verizon has officially confirmed that it is bringing its first Windows Phone 7 filled HTC Trophy handset on May 26th for $149.99 on a two-year contract for Verizon’s new customers and already existing customers, and it will hit the stores on June 2nd. Anyhow, May 26th is really going to be a big day for Big Red’s network, as the carrier has planned to release the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Motorola Droid X2, and LG Revolution 4G (yet to be confirmed). For the ones who buy HTC Trophy before July 15th, Verizon will give away a free copy of Xbox game which can be chosen from the copies of Halo: Reach, Kinect Sports, or Lode Runner for free for their Xbox 360 device.

Verizon’s HTC Trophy will ship with Microsoft’s “NoDo” copy and paste update. “NoDo” is Microsoft’s first platform update, which brings Copy/Paste feature and also let in improved application start-up and resume times, the most up-to-date WP7 experience.
The takers should subscribe to Nationwide Talk plans beginning at $39.99 for monthly access and an unlimited smartphone data package at $29.99 for monthly access.
