As promised, Verizon branded powerful 4G LTE capable LG Revolution handset is now available for purchase at Verizon stores with a price tag of $249.99 on a two-year contract. That is $50 less than the original pricing of another 4G LTE capable Samsung Droid Charge handset. It will come with Netflix (which is now available to download on other devices). And it’ll be the Verizon’s first device that supports VoLTE.
This LG Revolution features a 4.3-inch 480 x 800 pixel resolution TFT display and a single core Snapdragon MSM8655 1GHz processor, connectivity with Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI, DNLA media sharing, Bing Search app, Wireless Charging, pre-loaded Let’s Golf 2 and Rock Band apps and instead of Google Search it will be shipping with Bing integration. The camera setup here is a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front side, that can be used for video chat and a back-facing camera at 5-megapixels, which is capable of 720p video recording and placed at the back of the phone. It will be shipped with 16GB onboard storage, micro-SD card slot for memory expansion support up to 32GB, 4G mobile hotspot, 1500mAh battery, Android Market, V CAST, and more and more .
LG Revolution is not as powerful as a dual-core phone like the LG G2x, Verizon’s latest addition Motorola Droid X2 and it doesn’t seem to have a significant amount of benefits over the HTC Thunderbolt (which costs $249.99) or the Samsung Droid Charge.
