We have already reported about the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for Motorola Droid X and Droid Pro that was rolled out few hours back, while Moto also promised that the the roll out for other DROID series smartphones would happen soon. Looks like it’s not just DROID devices that would be getting the Gingerbread update, a special preview of the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update running on the Motorola Atrix 4G by BriefMobile is suggesting that the roll out for the Atrix 4G is not too faraway.
Motorola Atrix 4G was released earlier this year with a much hyped launch. However the journey hasn’t been smooth so far for the rugged Atrix 4G phone. The device has had its share of issues, the most prominent was the unlocked/non-working HSUPA radio which was fixed later with the 4.1.83 update.
The folks at BriefMobile has posted a video showing off the features in the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS running on the Motorola Atrix 4G. The new features to be introduced in the update include improved Motoblur UI, new Gingerbread keyboard, enhanced camera and battery management. The update will also come with the ability to sideload apps. Watch the video after the break to see the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread in action on the Moto Atrix 4G.
