AT&T has already an LTE-based tablet HTC Jetstream, which is first ever LTE tablet for the carrier, but its expensive price tag of $849.99 ($699.99 on contract) isn’t attracting the crowds. It looks like, AT&T is set to bring another Android tablet for its customers. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 16GB (or else it could be Galaxy Tab 10.1) was recently passed through the FCC doors, with AT&T’s plain 4G LTE branding logo gracing on its backside. The FCC docs haven’t confirmed whether it is either Galaxy Tab 8.9 or Galaxy Tab 10.1. Since AT&T has already a 10.1-inch HTC Jetstream tablet, the carrier might not got for another 10.1-inch device. So it could be Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which could be launched as 2nd LTE capable tablet by AT&T. But, in late June, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with AT&T connectivity has passed FCC regulations. Verizon is currently selling the LTE capable Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The Galaxy Tab passed through FCC is carrying the model number as SGH-i957.
