Earlier in September, we reported that Asus may be working for a 3G enabled Google Nexus 7 and it may be available soon. Well keeping the report and speculations alive, another leaked report suggest that the 3G Enabled Nexus 7 will be a reality soon.
Several buzz have been out regarding the existence of 32GB Nexus 7 model also. According to Germany’s Tablet Blog, the tablet with 3G capabilities will only come in a 32GB model. So far the Google Nexus 7 is only available with Wi-Fi and 8GB or 16GB storage.
The existing Nexus 7 made by Taiwan Manufacturer Asus is ME370T. Now a new model ME370TG has hit the the NCC and is named ASUS Pad. We are pretty sure that this is the Nexus 7 manufactured by ASUS. As you can see below, in the proposal submitted to NCC, the new Nexus 7 will support 3G including GSM, WCDMA, and of course Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC.
As per the report, it seems the new model ME370TG will not only be equipped with 3G, but also will feature a 32GB storage. This suggest that the 3G model will only be coming with a 32G storage not lesser. The speculated price of this model is €299. Well it is for you to decide for now until any official news comes up.
This report is another hint at the possibility of this device actually existing. Google has already sent out invites to its Android Playground on October 29. We will have to wait till then and see if any of these reports come up in the conference.
