We are already familiar with these phones and phablets. Recently, The Huawei Ascend Mate, some say an oversized phablet, was revealed in decent pictures. The Ascend D2 is even more familiar, with dozens of leaked pictures and specs. But these were never official pics that have been leaked.
Thanks to the leaky evleaks and UnwireView, the official images of the Huawei Ascend Mate, Ascend D2 and Ascend W1 are now available. The first two are Android devices and the last one is a Windows Phone flagship device from Huawei. All three devices are expected to make an appearance at CES 2013, which is scheduled for next week.
The Huawei Ascend Mate is a 6.1-inch phablet and has a curved design, light and thin body. The device is expected to be powered by a 1.8 GHz HiSilicon K3V3 Quad-Core Processor, a 13 MP rear camera, 2 GB of RAM, a 4000 mAh battery with thickness of less than 9.9mm, equipped with a 1080p Full HD touch screen. The device’ screen may have LTPS (Low Temperature Ploy Silicon) type display. With this flagship device, Huawei is now planning to compete the device with Korean mobile manufacturer’s flagship device Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
Huawei Ascend D2 was Announced in October last year. It sports a 5-inch display, powered by a 1.5GHz Huawei K3V2 quad-core processor, a 13 megapixel main on camera on back side, 1.3 megapixel front-facing shooter for forwarding video chats, micro USB 2.0, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, Dolby 5.1 surround stereo sound, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, 3.5mm headset jack, access to Google Play Store, a whole host of the Google services, 3,000mAh battery to power everything and all the regular features of an Android phone.
