BlackBerry Z10 To Be Offered By Bell and Telus From February 5th: Rumor

Over the past few months, we’ve seen potential BlackBerry Z10 full touch phone’s details leak out alongside rumored BlackBerry X10 QWERTY phone from RIM. After hearing earlier this month that RIM may be planning to launch its first BlackBerry 10 handset in Canada on February 28th, several carriers have sounded their support to carry the new phones from RIM and all the some Canadian carriers and retailers have already started offering pre-registrations. A new report from CrackBerry says that RIM will release the upcoming Blackberry Z10 handset in Canada through all the available major carriers on February 5th. RIM will introduce its first BlackBerry 10 phones at a joint presentation from New York City and Toronto on January 30th.

According to the source, both the Bell and Telus carriers will make sure that BlackBerry Z10 handset will be available to purchase in stores and online, starting February 5th, and users can choose between the white and black colored editions. There’s no word on handset’s availability in the U.S. or elsewhere. But, we’ve already seen a leaked landing page of the BlackBerry Z10 handset on U.S. Verizon’s website.

So what has been said about the BlackBerry Z10’ handset thus far? The device will pack a 4.2-inch 1280×768 touchscreen, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 16GB onboard storage, an 8MP primary camera, and an additional 2 megapixel front facer. There’s a 2GB of RAM, 1,800mAh battery hiding under the hood. Connectivity wise, you will get a micro USB 2.0, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, and more.
