Purported leaked images of the Lenovo S920 smartphone were already spotted online. Now, the smartphone is officially listed on the official website of Lenovo China’s store.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it is likely to be the first smartphone from Lenovo powered by this version of Jelly Bean. The Chinese mobile manufacturer packs the device with a 5.3-inch HD display, 8MP rear-facing camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD slot to expand the storage of the device. The device having 7.9mm thin supports 2,250 mAh battery.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Quad-core MT6589 processor and it is expected to be clocked at 1.2GHz. Yesterday, we also reported that Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE, Sony and many other manufacturers will introduce a number of devices powered by the chipset. You can note that the upcoming Huawei Ascend G700 would be packed with the low-cost quad-core MediaTek MT6589 SoC.
The Lenovo S920 will likely be released in China on April 8 for around $350. The availability details of the device in other regions hasn’t been revealed as of now. We’ll keep you posted.
