It’s no secret to anyone that Samsung is launching its next Galaxy S series smartphones very soon. While there have been several leaks in plentiful details about the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. We know how they’ll look and some key specs of the S23 trio phones.

While it was already known that the S23 Ultra would be packing an industry-leading 208MP primary camera, today’s latest leak has spilled some more beans camera and battery specs of Samsung’s next flagship S23 series.

The Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and S23 Ultra were recently certified by 3C with 25W chargers in China last month. According to previous rumors, Galaxy S23 will have a 3,900mAh battery under the hood – that is 200mAh bigger than Galaxy S22’s battery capacity). New information today surfaced on a German website GalaxyHub detailing about battery capacities of the S23 Plus and Ultra variants.

GalaxyClub claims the Galaxy S23+ model will have a 4,700mAh battery, which is a 200mAh upgrade over its predecessor’s battery size. On the other side, the high-end Galaxy S23 Ultra won’t be upgraded in battery departments as the manufacturer preferred to stick with the same 5,000mAh battery just like the S22 Ultra. Galaxy S23 Ultra carries a battery model number EB-BS918ABY. This model had a rated capacity of 4,855mAh and a typical capacity of 5,000mAh.

GalaxyClub also reported both the Galaxy S23 and S23+ variants will ship with 12MP ultrawide sensors on the backside. There is no word whether the Ultra model will also carry the 12MP ultra-wide unit or not. According to previous rumors, Galaxy S23 is supposed to get an improved 12MP selfie camera on the front side.

All these leaks and rumors are suggesting that the Galaxy S23 series is shaping up to be a minor refresh over the previous-gen Galaxy S22 series. Where’s the improvement, Samsung?
