As promised earlier, AT&T has started offering the pre-orders for the powerful smartphone Motorola Atrix 4G, powered by Android 2.2 Froyo OS and Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz chipset, which is capable give the PC performance  with a full sized keyboard and it can be dock with a laptop dock accessory. Motorola ATRIX 4G is scheduled to launch on March 6th.

Motorola Atrix 4G will cost you $199.99 with 2-year contract signing and a bunch of Webtop docks are also available for pre-order now. Motorola Atrix 4G and the Motorola Laptop Dock comes woth a promotional price of $499.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate. A set of Entertainment Access for Atrix 4G customers which includes the HD Multimedia Dock, a Bluetooth keyboard remote control and a mouse will cost you $189.99. Consumers also need to shell out $45 per month for the DataPro 4GB + Tethering data plan.

Motorola ATRIX 4G is runing with Android 2.2 Froyo on Nvidia Tegra 2 Dual-core 1GHz Processor with a 4-inch QHD display (or 960x 540), a front-facing VGA camera and 5-megapixel with LED flash, a Biometric fingerprint login security, 1GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11n support on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, GPS, 3G, HSPA+, Bluetooth, HD Dock for it’s HDMI video output capabilities and Laptop Dock, 1080p HD video playback, a 1930 mAh battery that gives nine hours of talk time, Android Market and a whole host of Google & AT&T services.

I really wanted this phone until I saw the price, ouch, going to wait for the prices to come down before I buy anything… I was hoping for some better pricing, but considering it’s being offered by AT&T, I’m not surprised the price is through the roof….. Maybe I can buy the phone and have it work with T-Mobile.
