It looks like, the popular TV brand Vizio is getting ready to join the tablet competition with the other manufacturers. Recently, we’ve seen the FCC entry of its 8” tablet, and a leaked memo has revealed the Walmart’s $349 price tag of this tablet, but we couldn’t trace out the possible release date of this tablet. We came to know that we are getting closer and closer to its launch date now, and we got an exact idea when this tablet may be landing in the U.S. The folks over Engadget have got an leaked memo of Walmart inventory system, and the memo has suggested that we can expect to see its launch time sometime around week 26, which is about six weeks rough time from now.
Vizio’s first ever Android powered tablet is expected be named as “Via” or “VTAB”, and it will be sporting a 1GHz chipset, VGA camera at front side of the device, Micro-SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, three stereo speakers, infrared port, Vizio TV apps integration capability, HDMI output, IR blaster pre-installed app, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and other details are unknown as of now. Vizio might be announcing about this unknown version of Android OS powered 8” tablet anytime now, and its not so expensive price tag is expected to let this tablet to give a tough competition to other Android powered tablets such as Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and etc,.
