Verizon has outed the LTE capable Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in late July and the carrier is now pushing out a firmware update for this Android 3.1 Honeycomb powered tablet. Unfortunately, this update doesn’t bring the most-awaited Android 3.2 Honeycomb update or the TouchWizUX update. As it is just a minor update you should expect a few bug fixes including the fix for 4G LTE connectivity issue. The latest update is carrying the build number I905.EH04. List of the performance enhancements and bug fixes that are coming along with the new OTA update:
# Data Connectivity is now much better.
# You will see notification alert if you are attempting to use dada service in roaming area.
# Users can now select between “Replay” and “Replay All’ to send an email via the EAS Email Server.
# Fix for Exchange Syncing.
# An apostrophe character now displays with (‘) symbol in Exchange emails.
# Mac machines now can detect your Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE device.
# Updating an Exchange password will now automatically update the security settings.
# SIM ID and IMEI number info will be displayed in ‘About tablet’ part of the tablet in "Settings" menu.
