Good news for Canadians who have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S III handset. Videotron has confirmed that the Galaxy S III will make its way to Canada as soon as on June 20th. That’s just around the corners, roughly 3 more weeks to go. The manufacturer has yet to confirm about its plans of the U.S. launch. But, a recent rumor suggested that the phone might be heading United States as soon as the end of June or beginning of July. T-Mobile U.S. is also rumored to release the GSIII handset on June 20th and it has been also spotted in U.S. Cellular’s internal system.
FYI, Canada based wireless carrier Videotron uses the same frequency as T-mobile in the U.S. So, Videotron should get the quad-core processor equipped Galaxy S III handset. Other mobile operators such as Bell, Rogers and Telus will get the dual-core powered GSIII handsets.
Videotron website hasn’t mentioned about the price tag for the Galaxy S III device. But If you’re eager to hear more news about the device, you can head on over to the sign-up page on its website and be put on the list to get more info such as price info and other details.
