A couple of blurry images of an in-development and mysterious HTC handset have leaked online. For those who may be unaware, HTC is rumored to working on a 5-inch Android phone exclusively for the Verizon network in the U.S., which is expected be release some tine in September-October and it will come with a 5-inch 1080p display and a resolution of 1794×1080.
The handset in the above image is expected to be introduced as a future flagship for the Taiwanese manufacturer. You can see the red accents on the side of the handset, suggesting us that this could be heading to Verizon network. We’ve already seen the red/black color scheme designed handsets on big Red network before. There is a Beats Audio logo and an unknown sticker on the backside of the device.
HTC’s 1080p phablet is said to be powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor with an Adreno 320 GPU and it will have World Mode LTE/HSPA+ connectivity on the board. It is also rumored to be shipping with its own Scribe pen (from HTC Flyer tablet).
Besides the rumored 1080p HTC Android, Verizon is gearing up to launch a 5-inch LG Intuition handset (768 x 1024 resolution) in the coming weeks. So, what do you guys think? What it could be?
