Just a moment ago, we reported about the official roll out of the Jelly Bean update for the Sprint branded Google Nexus S 4G handset. And most of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus variants have already been upgraded to Jelly Bean OS, except the Verizon’s LTE capable GNex handset. Late last month, a test build of the Jelly bean OS has leaked for the Verizon’s Galaxy nexus handsets. Samsung has been teasing that a set of non-Nexus devices will be receiving the Jelly Bean treat very soon. CNIT has reported that Samsung has confirmed them that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will be pushing out to the Galaxy S3 in October. Though there is no exact date, we believe CNIT has a good reputation in tech world.
We’ve been hearing that Sammy is prepping to release the latest Android OS firmware for the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S II and the first-gen Galaxy Note handsets along with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 (newly released) tablets. There’ve been a no. of Jelly bean ROM leaks for the Galaxy S III. Just yesterday, we reported about the leaked Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM I9300XXDLI5 for the Galaxy S III handset, which is the most stable version and it might be roll out to the device as the official build.
There have also been a couple of Jelly Bean update leaks for the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy Note10.1 tablets.
The source has also mentioned that the 4G version of the Samsung Galaxy S III will be shipped preinstalled Jelly Bean build on Everything Everywhere network in the U.K. EE is going to serve up the nation’s first taste of 4G data in the coming weeks.
