A few hours ago, we saw the Korean conglomerate officially confirming about its Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event on February 1, and we all know that the event is scheduled for launching the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
This event is also expected to be followed by another part of Unpacked event for unveiling the next gen Galaxy A lineup. Samsung is also preparing to introduce the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy 34 handsets that have appeared in official-looking renders leaked by OnLeaks. But, based on recent reports, these handsets should be launching in India on January 18th. This is the same date set for launching two more Galaxy A series phones – Galaxy A14, and Galaxy A23 are confirmed to be launched in India.
We’ve been hearing about the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 in for a long time, and the phones were also featured in previous leaks, so we have a pretty good idea on what to expect about their design. The Galaxy A34 5G has an Infinity-U display notch, whereas the Galaxy A54 5G will arrive with a centered punch-hole cutout. Both phones have got green colored frames that are seemingly matching the previous Galaxy A34 renders showing off the back side of the phone.
Specs-wise, the Galaxy A54 is expected to have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, running on yet-to-announced Exynos 1380 chipset, a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor, and the selfie camera should come in at a resolution of 32MP. It also has IP57 water/dust resistance, and a 5,100 mAh battery with 25W charging speeds. Dimensions are said to be 158.3 x 76.7 x 8.2 mm. It will b sold in black, green, purple, and white colors, but there may be more.
The Galaxy A34 is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 or Exynos 1280 chipset, and comes packed with a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 13MP selfie camera, alongside a 48MP ear camera, IP67 dust/water resistance, and it is also backed by the same 5,000mAh battery with the same 25W charging speeds. Both phones will be shipped with Android 13 based One UI 5 on top.
