Acer has officially unveiled it’s another smartphone at Mobile World Congress show 2011, the Acer Iconia Smart, which is having a bigger display among the current smartphone in the markets.

Acer Iconia Smart is sporting a whopping 4.8 inches TFT display screen with 21:9 ratio and 1024 x 480 pixels of resolution, running with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS on a 1Ghz Snapdragon chipset. Acer Iconia Smart is having 8 Megapixels rear-side camera with LED flash and it can able to shoot the 720p HD video, an additional 2 megapixels front-facing camera for video calling, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 3G. Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, micro-USB 2.0, HSDPA – 14.46 Mbps, HSUP – 5.74 Mbps.

According to Acer, “you can watch a movie in its original format, for an engrossing cinema-like experience”. Iconi Smart is also having HDMI port, DLNA functionality, 6-axis motion sensing (accelerometer, accelerometer), 8GB internal storage, scope for memory expansion support for up to 32GB, Android Market, full host of Google services including Google Books, Google Maps, G-talk and more. So Acer iconia Smart should treat as “100% Smartphone and 100% Tablet”.

Acer Iconia Smart will be releasing in April in Europe and the U.S in June or July. Iconia Smart will cost you $499.
