Amazfit Falcon with AI-based training coach launched for $499

The new Amazfit Falcon smartwatch been officially unveiled by Amazfit with pricing and availability details. This is a premium and performance focused rugged smartwatch built with aircraft-grade TC4 Titanium and sapphire crystal glass screen. It has a smart training algorithm called the Zepp Coach, 14 days of battery life, and more.

Specs wise, the Amazfit Falcon has a circular design and sports a 1.28″ always-on AMOLED color touchscreen of 466×466-pixel resolution protected by Sapphire Crystal glass with Mohs hardness rating of 9/10. The display has 326ppi pixel density and its brightness blasts up to 1000 nits, while it is covered with an anti-fingerprint coating and surrounded by an anti-glare bezel.

Its 20 ATM waterproofing rating helps you to swim as long as you want by wearing it. The smartwatch comes preloaded with a unique smart training algorithm called the Zepp Coach. This algorithm uses AI to create personalized training modules based on your physique and experience to improve your performance without overdoing things. It has more than 150 sports modes and workouts that may be logged, and it can be paired with additional fitness accessories such as a heart rate belt and cycling power meters via Bluetooth to create training templates.

   

The Amazfit Falcon weighs 64g, and it has 22 mm wide straps with titanium pin buckle made with liquid silicone. It comes with support for six satellite positioning systems and dual-band GPS (L1 and L5) for accurate tracking and consistent signal strength. There is also a real-time GPS tracking feature, which tracks your movements and tells you the shortest way back to the starting point of your journey.

It comes with a bunch of health features such as heart rate monitor, blood-oxygen monitor, stress measurement, sleep tracker with support for SomnusCare for in-depth stats, ability to record breathing rate. You can also sync the data with third-party fitness apps such as Relive, Strava, Google Fit, Apple Health, and Adidas’ Running app.

The Amazfit Falcon runs Zepp OS, and it works with Android 7.0+ and iOS 12.0+ running devices. Remaining usual specs are WLAN 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE connectivity, a PAI Health Assessment system, music storage and control, and it ships with a 500 mAh battery can that last up to 14 days on a single charge.

The Amazfit Falcon is now available to purchase in the United States and Europe regions through Amazfit stores and Amazon. It comes in a single Supersonic Black color and priced at $499 (~ Rs 41,100) in the US, while it goes for €499 in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. The users from Mexico, Brazil and other countries will be able to purchase it in the coming weeks through AliExpress. No word on the availability for the Indian market.
