Low-cost Amazon Kindle 2022 launched for $99.99 with 6″ 300 PPI screen

If you are looking for a relatively affordable e-book reader with a high-resolution display and more internal storage, you could grab the new Amazon Kindle 2022. Amazon has added the new Kindle e-book reader to its e-book reader lineup today. This new version offers a pretty display, bigger internal storage.

Amazon Kindle 2022 features a 6-inch display, which makes it the lightest and smallest Kindle till date in a thinner-than-ever 8mm profile, and a lightweight 158-gram body. The display has 300ppi high-resolution glare-free display with three times more pixels for laser-quality text and sharp graphics that read like paper.

The device comes with a significant update that is worth mentioning. There is 16GB of internal storage under the hood, which is double the capacity of the previous model. It also has a USB-C port, which lets you to use the same charger to charge your phone and Kindle. Amazon claims that a single charge will last up to 6 weeks.

Amazon sells the the “lightest and most compact” 16GB Kindle 2022 for just $99.99 (~ $7,955). The buyers can choose between Black and Denim colors. An upgraded Kindle Kids version has also been announced today for $119.99 (~ $9,549) with three different kid-friendly cover designs: Space Whale, Unicorn Valley, and Ocean Explorer. Amazon provides two-year worry-free guarantee and a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+.

Kindle 2022 and Kindle Kindle Kids are both now available fore pre-order and the orders will start shipping from October 12th.
