Samsung Galaxy S III isn’t the only Android device getting Jelly Bean update this week, as other manufacturers also pushing their own Jelly Bean updates to their devices. Archos is now rolling out the most awaited Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for its 101 XS tablet. Here is the list of the features that the Archos 101 XS tablet is gaining with this firmware update:
- Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 firmware release
- Archos Video: major upgrade with simplified video information retrieval and media indexing, new network shares infrastructure
- Archos applications: future updates of Archos Video, Music, File Manager, System Monitor applications (embedded in the firmware) will be carried out through Google Play
The update is rolling out in phases over the air right now. For those who just can’t wait, will have to check for the update manually by heading into Menu –> Settings –> and follow the further instructions to finish the upgrading process successfully.
