A few days ago, Asus has rolled out a firmware update 8.6.5.18 for the Eee Pad Transformer tablet. Teh last update apparently broke a few things and many users have reported that Backup app wasn’t working well. It seems the manufacturer has started delivering another firmware update for the Eee Pad Transformer tablet. The new firmware update is carrying the the new build number HTK75.US_epad-8.6.5.19-20111107. This update is tweaked version of the last update and will fix the bugs of the last update and the Backup app should be now working again. A working Backup app appears to be the only significant addition in this latest version. We don’t know yet what’s the new features are coming with this new firmware update.

Asus Eee Pad transformer tablets’ owners should be seeing the notification on their screen panels regarding the new firmware update. If you can’t wait for OTA notification, you can try pull the update from the air by heading over to Settings –> About Tablet –> and hit System Updates button.
