Asus made Google Nexus 7 ME370TG with 3G hits the FCC

It was obvious that the new Nexus 7 with upgraded storage is going to be equipped with 3G connectivity. Earlier the 3G version of Nexus 7 (FCC ID: MSQME370TG) was seen at Taiwan’s NCC. Now with the device expected to be released on October 29, it hits the FCC.

Nexus 7 is an affordable Tablet from Google manufactured by Asus Inc. Taiwan. It is now available in 8GB and 16GB Wi-Fi only models. According to the recent leaks and rumors, the device will be upgraded to 16GB and 32GB at the same price as earlier versions i.e. $199 and $249 respectively. Very recently another report claims that the Nexus 7 32GB will also be available in 3G version. The pricing is not known but it is expected to be lower than the iPad mini.

Coming to the Google event on October 29, where Nexus 7 upgraded version is expected to be unveiled, expectations are quite high from this event. Interestingly the date also collides with the launch date of Windows Phone 8 in the US. The Google event with the tagline “The Playground is Now open” is speculated to be an Android event where the latest version Android 4.2 OS is expected. The speculated devices to feature this new OS includes the highly leaked LG Nexus 4.

Nexus 7 3G FCC

Both Nexus 7 32GB and LG Nexus 4 have been confirmed of its existence. Last week a customer bought the Nexus 7 32GB at a Staples store in the US. And LG India Planning head accidentally confirmed in an interview that the LG Nexus 4 will be unveiled with Android 4.2 OS at the Google event. And it is now up for pre order in the UK.
