A announcement event on October 16 has already been booked for Asus PadFone 2 at Milan and Taipei. Save the Date invitation was already sent out as early as September 20. With the nearing of the event date, more and more details of the ASUS PadFone 2 is being revealed via alleged leaks. As for today, there is more than leaked pics as Bloomberg TV India while interviewing Asus CEO Jerry Shen caught hold of a video tour of the device prior to its announcement.
The PadFone 2 packs a 4.7-inch HD display and a 13-megapixel camera. New improvised docking station allows user to dock the device straight into a lighter and thinner slate component. Other than this video tour, more pictures of the Padfone was leaked by the leaky Evleaks via twitter today thereby fueling the fire.
Other unconfirmed details suggest a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core SoC processor, improvement in the field of 3D graphics performance with the new GPU Andreno 320m, 13-megapixel camera, 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 Super IPS+ display, LTE and 2GB of RAM.
