AT&T expands its 4G-LTE network to Michigan, Unite hotspot to debut at CES

Last month, US wireless carrier AT&T announced its LTE service in five new markets including Florida, Arizona and Mississippi. In addition to these new markets, the carrier expanded to another four regions as well. Now, the carrier is expanding its nationwide 4G LTE service to several new markets.

The AT&T’s new 4G LTE markets are:

# Ann Arbor, Michigan
# Beverly Hills, Michigan
# Birmingham, Michigan
# Monroe County, Michigan
# Kent County, Michigan
# Ottawa County, Michigan

AT&T’s 4G LTE network is the latest generation of wireless network technology. It gives faster mobile Internet speed, which is 10 times faster than 3G. Back in December, Verizon also introduced 4G LTE speeds to new 29 markets and that brought its network to 470 different markets covered with hundreds of millions of Americans.

Moreover AT&T is now planning to debut its 4G LTE hotspot deice, the AT&T Unite at CES 2013 next week. Unite will have a 2.4-inch screen display and you can connect up to 10 devices to it at one time. But there is no word when the device will be available in the market and what will be its price.
