Yay, finally the White iPhone is here!!
Late yesterday, Apple has officially announced the White iPhone 4 and the launching plans through its own Apple Store as well as with the AT&T and Verizon stores. The new white color version of the handset was expected to hit the stores along with the black version that was launched in June last year, but Apple had some design issues with it and was forced to delay it by almost 10 months.
Apple is now offering the white version of the iPhone 4 handsets for both AT&T and Verizon through its website. Other than a proximity sensor pinch nothing else has changed on the device, specs and pricing still remain the same.
To remind you again, White iPhone 4 is having 3.5” LCD capacitive high-res Retina display, A4 1GHz chipset, iOS 4.2.5, 5MP camera with LED Flash, 720p HD video capture and an additional VGA camera, Face Time feature, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 16GB or 32GB healthy memory storage, Accelerometer, A-GPS and more.
Folks in the U.S. can now buy the White iPhone 4 at the Apple Store (hit the link), priced at $199.99 for the 16GB edition and $299.99 for the 32GB variant in both AT&T and Verizon flavors and Apple will ship the device within 3 to 5 business days. You can also bundle your white iPhone with a bumper case, which is available at a price tag of $29.99.
